Las estrategias de desarrollo urbano sostenible integrado como modelo de intervención: la manga del mar menor.

The future of our cities is determined by the current processes of regeneration and transformation of the woven urban to comply the "city compact", understood this as "(...) a dense and socially diverse city where the social and economic activities overlap and where communities can be integrated in your neighborhood". (Rogers and Gumuchdjian, 2000) On multiple occasions, urban revitalization depends on different interventions which are carried out in strategic environments, besides they can act as a salutary lesson trigger a renewal on a larger scale. To ensure efficient actions allowing to restore the most degraded urban environments, it is necessary to work from the cross-cultural integration of the main concepts that build the city, beyond the simply physical rehabilitation. "It improves lasting and to long term of the conditions social, economic, environmental of an area urban singular." "To achieve it is necessary have of a strategy consistent, balanced and with a vision of long term, and not only of projects to address problematic specific" (POCS, 2014). Integrated strategies sustainable urban development drafted for La Manga del Mar Menor has so-called it an opportunity to of designed a Plan of regeneration that includes of an integral way the different aspects of a urban recovery urban and comply a tool that has allowed to comply funding for materialize them. The DUSI Strategy of La Manga del Mar Menor has provided the opportunity to design and implement an effective regeneration tool.
